KRCS is a strong independent multi-denominational Christian school community in north metro Atlanta. We believe our college-bound students should be known; known for individual gifts and talents, learning styles, and personally as individuals. Students who are known are more engaged in their academics, in collaborative activities and in the student life of a school. They have a better understanding of how they can impact the world as they develop into self-directed learners, self-aware leaders and self-confident servants.
While strong academics are central to college preparation, KRCS has been proactive to position their graduates for success in college and selection of a major course of study by implementing a school-wide Learning Management System, online class options, Bring Your Own Device technology, and exploring the application of their gifts and talents in assessments, relational apprenticeships and internships. Components of purpose and call, global agility and life skills are also an integral part of the curriculum that exists throughout this PreK – 12th grade KRCS experience, called the JOURNEY for Life Impact.
Students attend school on a 70-acre campus with separate facilities for Lower, Middle and High schools. The culture is one of trust and respect with no locks on lockers, an expectation of integrity with an Honor Code, community service at every grade level, mission trips and student leadership by influence. Integration of faith occurs in the curriculum and co-curricular activities as it is delivered by the 140 staff members.
